The Farm

Produce

We Plant with Purpose. To help add to the tapestry of the types of foods we are able to offer the public. This year 2025, we had Okra, Navajo White Corn, 4 types of Beans, Heritage Squash, and so much more! While one of our founders, Danielle,  grew up on a farm we still rely on our Elders and Mentors to guide us. This year was the first year Chef Alan has managed the farm on his lonesome. He did a fantastic job if you ask us. Shown above is a harvest from 2024 highlighting our favorite pocket melon called "Tiger Melons"

SteamCorn

This Beautiful way of preserving corn is done in many different ways, from pits to ovens. Pictured is one of two "Baah' Hoghaan" Or "Bread Homes" on our Farm in Shiprock NM, Officially Dii IINÀ Farm. This Oven is how we are able to create some of our ingredients, as well as a way we cook for our guests. Come see them in action in the fall and look for workshops later in the year to teach how we utilize them!

He requires a special diet that the sheep also follow. If you ever have an opportunity to own a donkey, take it. They will love the shit out of you and still have more love to give. He deserves the world and you should help us give it to him. Currently he needs a coat, I will post pictures if you sponsor one.

However we are going to do our best to be stewards in this situation.  We grow food to help our community. This past year we helped service 2 coming of age ceremonies,  15 workshops on the Navajo Nation surrounding growing projects, Fed over 100 people in our community, and hope to do more in the future.
